Lords of the undead, vampires find slim pickings out in the wilderness. The coming of the Orlanthi must seem like a god-send...
Event Dialogue[]
“ | <X>, the young child of carls, <Y> and <Z>, disappears from their stead. A search finds his unconscious body out in the bush. He has two puncture wounds on his neck, and has lost a great deal of blood. The people are afraid that a vampire is loose in the area. | ” |
Consequences[]
- Your clan will naturally be concerned about any vampire magic, so you may wish to conduct a ritual to negate it. What effects vampire control may have is currently unknown.
- Doing nothing is not a good option. For one, the vampire attacks will continue, and this doesn't include the fact your people will grow angry that nothing is done with the vampire around.
- A successful sacrifice to Humakt will strengthen your clan against the undead. A failure may draw more attention.
- Some undead, like zombies, are also Chaos-touched, so sacrificing to Urox may also work. It is a toss-up between the two deities, but having a devotee of that god on the ring can make the god-specific choice more effective.
- If you find the vampire, you may well kill it. You need to send enough warriors, but not too many for if slain, the vampire expels a gas that sickens those who attacked it.
Note: If you don't take care of the vampire, then it opens the possibility of other undead or chaos monster attacks.
