Another of the earthshakers, the triceratops is an herbivore built like a tank. While closely associated with the dragonewts, these beings are trainable, and have been used both in war and farming.
While the horns and neck frill are used in courtship, the triceratops aren't afraid to turn them on aggressors. In Dragon Pass they are able to subsist on crops, but they do require a large amount of them.
