Magisaurs are reptilian creatures who resemble dinosaurs, but they are actually more closely related to dragonewts. Dragonewts go through a cycle of death and rebirth, growing in power as they do so.
Magisaurs, however, are dragonewts who have halted this process, whether through mishap or by choice. Eventually, their shape conforms to that of better known dinosaurs, though they do stay strong in magical ability.
Magisaurs are herbivores and choose to live peacefully.
