Event Dialogue[]
“ | <X> looks at his maps and finds out that they've been completely changed! Comparing maps with an <Y clan> trader from another clan, he discovers that the <Y> maps are jumbled, too! <X> tries to draw a correct map in the sand, from memory, but can only make a jumbled one. | ” |
Consequences[]
What you will see, if you fail to rectify matters, is that your map (such as exploring) will have turned into a beige mess, and various names are mixed up. This isn't a bug, but a failed Issaries heroquest. The map will correct itself in 2-3 years game time.
- Formally apologizing to other clans admits your responsibility in what happened, but if you had good relations, the clans will probably forgive you and their estimation of you will praise for your honesty. If your apology doesn't go over well...well, relations just worsened with all the clans in Dragon Pass.
- If you are a devious bent, you may convince everyone else that another clan is responsible for what happened. If you are caught in the lie, the other clans will be furious, especially the one you tried to put the blame on.
- Doing nothing will leave you with screwed up maps, and other clans will be irritated.
- A successful sacrifice to Issaries or Lhankor Mhy will fix the maps. Failure will just prolong the problem.
